Andrew - Glasgow, GlasgowI have a TomTom One XL, version 4S00.000 - Europe and traffic.Over the past six months it has progressively become worse at locating the correct position on the map. Initially it did this only intermittently placing the car symbol to the left or the right of the road I was travelling on, occasionally putting it ahead or behind the actual position of the car on the road. Normal operation only returned usually after power cycling the device. Just occasionally the device gets completely lost and decides that there are no available satellites.TomTom have been hopeless, their suggestion was that I should blank the memory and re-load the application and maps. I`ve done this but it hasn`t made any diffeence. The only thing that seems to make any difference is that for a day or so after a fresh quick GPS fix is loaded, using TomTom Home, then the device is slightly less liable to get lost.I have tried using one of TomTom`s external GPS antennas, this seemed to help but the device still gets lost. :
